Our DEVOTED Services
Our Executive Director has been Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care (CHPN), and is currently certified in Age Friendly Care at Home (AFC-PC). She provides staff education while also encouraging our team to seek additional certifications that will provide benefit to our terminally ill patients and families. Having over 55 years of combined hospice experience, our team offers a variety of personalized and individualized hospice services in alignment with Age Friendly Care at Home that includes:
Pain and Symptom Management: providing medications as well as holistic remedies that include aromatherapy and acupressure., and non-medication approaches for symptom relief.
Emotional Support: Our Medical Social Worker can provide a listening ear, provide information and guidance regarding Advance Directives, Power of Attorney documents, DNR forms, as well as assistance with final arrangements.
Spiritual Support: Our Hospice Chaplain can provide a listening ear, prayers, read scriptures from The Bible, assistance in providing important needs that may include Sacraments of the Sick (Last Rites), Holy Communion, etc that can decrease Spiritual anxiety.
Bereavement Counseling: Sometimes the patient and/or family members may already be struggling with losses, and dealing with another can be a great burden to bear. We can help.
Specialty Services: These 'extra' services are available upon request, and are geared toward providing extra care, pampering, support and joy.
